During the Kanin Freeride Battle by Nissan 2012 contest day we anounce the Premiere of Slovak film about Slovenian ski-alpinist Davo Karničar. After the film Davo and authors will join the audience. Production.

The Premiere will be held on 2nd of March at 20:00 in Cultural house in Bovec (KD Bovec), welcome.

The film Davo Karnicar´s Ski Arcs in the High Tatras is a story about keen Alpine skiers and mountain lovers who spent some time with this great and modest extreme skier during his stay in the High Tatras. The film presents Davo’s viewpoint of life in the mountains.

Enjoy the adrenaline, the beauty of the mountains, and unexpected, humorous and sometimes even serious moments.

The Slovenian world-class extreme skier and climber Davo Karničar has skied down from the highest peaks on all seven continents and was the first who descended the slopes of Mt. Everest.

He has hiked the mountain ranges all over the world and has skied down a number of extreme slopes. The film presents his mastery of skiing and gives the account of impression the High Tatras left this mountaineer with. You will see the descents of different extreme Tatra glens and walls during Davo’s stay in the High Tatras. The viewers will have an opportunity to see his descent of one of the most demanding slopes in the Tatras, the descent from the second highest peak in the Tatras Lomnický Štít in extreme conditions.
