On the website of Freeride Battle 2010, the only freeride skiing and snowboarding event in Slovenia, the registration closes on Thursday February 18th. So far close to 200 riders from around 20 countries registered, also because this year “The Battle” is also a Freeride World Qualifier event.

The list of 70 participating riders in four categories – snowboarding women and men, skiing women and men – will be announced on Friday February 26th.

The fifth edition of Freeride Battle will take place on Slovenian side of Kanin ski area that connects Slovenia and Italy. The exact terrain will be chosen just days before the contest according to snow conditions.
